About the Medals

• **The Challenge:**Participants track real-world distance (walking, running, cycling, or swimming) via an app to virtually retrace the journey from the Shire to Mount Doom.

• **The Design:**Each distinct leg of the journey features an intricately designed, interlocking or themed metal medal with a matching printed lanyard.

• Displayed Locations (Left to Right):

• The Eye of Sauron (Mordor/Climax)

• The Fellowship (Rivendell/1st stage vibe)

• The Shire (The beginning of the journey)

• Mordor (The Climb)

• The Mines of Moria

• Included with the Shire medal, is The Ring. As you can see in photo it can be removed.

• The Mordor metal stretches out and there is a place to place the ring after the journey has completed.

• The medals are very detailed and have substantial weight to them. Not a flimsy plastic trinket.
