The PC300CE is a Performance series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was produced in South Korea.
The PC300CE features a mini jumbo body with a hard Florentine cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top on laminated mahogany sides and back. It has a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a wood mosaic rosette. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics consist of an Ibanez piezo transducer pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ30 preamp with a three band EQ feeding a ¼" stereo output.
For 2002 the pickup was replaced with a Fishman Sonicore and the preamp with an Ibanez AEQ-SS Shape Shifter EQ.
The PC300NCE is a related model with nylon strings. The PF300CE is a related model with dreadnought body.
The PC300CE was discontinued after 2003.
