I'm a professional videographer and purchased this lens when I was shooting with Canon 5D cameras. It spent most of its life on my second camera, typically mounted on a tripod or slider capturing a wide-angle shot during interviews. It wasn't a lens that saw heavy autofocus use, I would manually set focus before rolling and walk away.

I've since sold all of my Canon equipment, and this lens has been sitting on my shelf.

Condition:

Glass is clean and clear.

Zoom, aperture, and image stabilization function fine. The lens has always produced great images for me.

Please note: The autofocus mechanism is sticky/clunky. It still functions, but it isn't as smooth as it should. Because of this, I'm selling the lens AS-IS.

To be completely transparent, I don't know what caused the autofocus to become sticky. I take exceptional care of my equipment—I have never dropped it, I travel with protective cases, live in a dry climate, and maintain my gear meticulously. One day the autofocus simply started feeling a bit rough. Since it never affected the way I used the lens, I continued using it without issue.
