Derby Rims has been around since 2012; considered one of the original carbon wheel brands that was born at the base of Mt. Tamalpais in Mill Valley. In 2024 I purchased the brand and moved it locally to Utah County. You can see our website here: Home

Derby was the 'original' wide rim (we had 45i rims that were quite common during the plus-sized era). Seeing as how things have changed back to more narrow once more, we have followed suit.

Derby has also always been a custom wheel-builder brand (you'd never see these for sale on the wall at your LBS). I'm looking to change that, which is why we've built up multiple sets at our warehouse to go straight to the consumer. They include a 5-year (considered lifetime in the world of carbon wheels) warranty on the rims.
