Pair 1650 OBO. Beautiful matching pair of oversized French Louis XV–style armchairs with tall shaped upholstered backs, gracefully curved open arms, carved leaf and scroll detailing, decorative stretcher bases, nailhead trim, and an antiqued silver-tone finish.

These are substantial statement chairs with wonderful architectural presence. The pale yellow/cream upholstery features an elegant oversized damask/floral pattern in a soft neutral tone.

The chairs are being sold as found. The frames have wonderful character and detailing, while the upholstery shows age, wear and some staining and would be an excellent candidate for professional cleaning or reupholstery. I had originally purchased these with plans to refinish/reimagine them, but have decided to leave them intact and let their next owner decide their direction.
