ZelleThis table has held a lot of Sunday dinners.
My mother found this set decades ago in an orphanage in Arizona that was closing its doors. It was solid, beautifully made, and clearly built to gather people around it. She did a full restoration, and we have gathered around it as a family for years. My parents have now passed, and it's time for this table to go to a family who will use it the way ours did.
What's included:
- A solid oak extension dining table, beautifully carved, that seats 10 to 12 comfortably when extended.
- 10 matching chairs (7 side chairs, 3 with arms for the heads of the table) — each with a carved back and a cushioned seat.
- A tall carved china cabinet, built to hold the good dishes for the nights they came out.
- A matching server, perfect for the rolls, the gravy, the extra serving dishes that never fit on the table itself.
This isn't reproduction furniture. It's heavy, solid, real wood, the kind of craftsmanship you don't often find anymore — built by a well-known American furniture maker nearly a century ago, the kind of piece that was made to last for generations and clearly has.
We've also included custom-fitted felt table protectors and seat cushions for every chair, made specifically for this set.
If you're a family that gathers — for Sunday dinner, for holidays, for the nights when everyone comes home — this table was built for exactly that. It's ready for the next several decades of dinners, if you'll have it.
