Beautiful vintage Roos Sweetheart cedar chest with known family history dating to 1946. Made by Roos, the chest features classic waterfall-style lines, decorative wood veneer and a beautiful cedar-lined interior. The original Roos maker's mark is still visible inside. The chest is solid and offers generous storage for blankets, linens, keepsakes or other treasured items. It has been painted and shows considerable age-related wear to the exterior finish, particularly on the top. Please see photos for condition. I have chosen not to refinish it so the next owner can preserve its original character or restore it as they wish.
