my daughter is hesitantly offering up her boy “Custom Bred” for a new kid wanting to learn the ropes of fancy riding buttons. She saved up her money to buy him a couple years ago, and saved up more, borrowed some for a new reining pony she bought this last week.. so her trusty boy will be available to the right home. We bought him knowing he had navicular and we have maintained him great with our amazing farrier Roger Wyler, supplements (equi-bone, buteless, and Optiwize) and zero alfalfa, only grass. Not confined to a small stall is a must.

He just had a great show last week and averaged 67-68 scores for her.

He WON 1st place STATE 4H in Horsemanship, 2nd place Rail Class, and Reserve OVERALL buckle last September and she came home with a lot of loot! He is the ultimate babysitter type and has all the fancy buttons, he just needs extra supplementation and a knowledgable farrier to keep him going. She would love to find a home for him to keep him comfortable like we have, ideally a grandkid horse, open show events, light trail rides etc. he is worth his weight in gold, but price reflects what he is maintenance wise. Keep your kids safe and avoid hospital deductibles And heck, maybe win all the judged events that’s fun too.

If we can’t find the right home (large turnout, shade, and open to learning to keep him comfortable) then he will just stay with us, Kayla would just really appreciate refilling her savings acct for her new Reiner
