Beautiful vintage mid-century modern oil painting on canvas featuring a classic, moody genre scene of a young child blowing soap bubbles by a hearth. This piece was distributed in the 1960s/1970s by Collectors Corner, Inc. and features its original Certificate of Authenticity registration sticker (Serial B12692G) on the back. The canvas edge is hand-marked "Lockard" and stretched over vintage Winsor & Newton canvas bars. It comes housed in a gorgeous, heavy, ornate gilt wood frame with a classic linen insert border. The frame alone is easily worth the price! Perfect for an antique-style gallery wall, dark academia aesthetic, or traditional home decor. It's been lovely in my home for years, but we're moving and have to downsize.
