Here’s your chance to score a pair of what are considered by many to be one of the finest high-end-but-affordable home speakersanywhere…Klipsch’s Cornwall 4, and in Klipsch’s beautiful walnut-veneer finish.
The Cornwall 4 is Klipsch’s latest version of a speaker originally developed decades ago, and if you know anything about Klipsch’s legendary Heritage line, you know this is their top-of-the-line hybrid model, which blends high- and mid-frequency horn drivers with a massive, 15-inch woofer (and lower-cabinet porting) for truly impressive bass performance.
This pair is just 3 years old and in absolutely superb condition, having been lovingly cared for by owners that listened primarily to jazz and classical music. I bought them as a backup pair to my Heritage Klipsch Jubilees, but since I’ve decided to use LaScalas for a backup, these will need a new home.
The speakers are located in SLC, Utah, and come with their original boxes and packing materials. I’m willing to deliver locally (or even a little farther afield) within reason. I’m also happy to demo them to prospective buyers in my living room. Hooked up to a good receiver or integrated amp (I have a late-’70s Yamaha CR-1020 available for sale if you’re interested, in addition to an REL T/9x subwoofer), they are just phenomenal; direct, punchy, dynamic as hell, and beautiful to look at.
Not in a hurry at all, so low-ballers and those wanting to trade their green-tinged “barely used” jacuzzi or rusty Chevy El Camino will be ignored.
