Beautiful vintage American-made dining chair set by Young Manufacturing Co. of Norwood, North Carolina.

This is a complete set of 6 chairs — 4 side chairs and 2 armchairs — featuring tall, distinctive paneled wood backs and original brown patterned upholstery.

These are substantial, well-crafted vintage chairs with tons of character. The tall backs and curved arms give them a really unique look that would work beautifully in a traditional, vintage, farmhouse, lodge, or collected/curated dining room.

Condition:

These were purchased from an estate sale about two years ago and have been stored in a storage room since. The wood frames are in good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. The original upholstery has some staining and wear on several of the seats, which is reflected in the price and photos. They could be professionally cleaned, or they would be an excellent candidate for reupholstering if you want to give them a fresh look.

I have intentionally left the original upholstery so the next owner can decide whether to preserve the vintage look, have it professionally cleaned, or choose new fabric.
