Title: Vintage Spinergy Rev X Carbon Wheelset (700c Clincher) - 7-Speed

Up for sale is a clean, vintage set of Spinergy Rev X 4-Spoke Carbon Composite Wheels (700c).

I bought a vintage steel frame that I am upgrading that came with these wheels. The carbon blades and aluminum brake tracks have been thoroughly cleaned and visually inspected. There are no visible cracks, soft spots, or carbon delamination that I can see. But please note that I am not a professional bike mechanic. Due to the age and composite nature of vintage carbon, these wheels are sold AS-IS.

Spinergy Rev X wheels are legendary for their style and aero performance, but they are also famous in cycling history (including being restricted/banned from UCI competitive racing in the late '90s due to safety regulations). Buyers should inspect the wheels themselves prior to riding. Many people buy these for the aesthetics and mount on their wall, rather than to ride.

Sticker Details: Marked with US Patent Nos. 5104199 & 5452945, "Made in Mexico."

Rim Marking: "298" stamped inside the rim bed.

Hub: Later-gen copper/orange anodized aluminum hub shell
