This is a one of 2 prototypes built as a custom dune buggy using an Electric Club Car Motor and components. 2 Partners in California had these built. They were going to try and mass produce these but they ran out of money and never pursued the project. Apparently they cost over $35k each to build. One owner moved to Hurricane Utah which is where I purchased the unit. I paid $15k. I have 8 grandkids under the age of 6 and we ended up getting a 6 passenger golf cart for the cabin. This has been sitting in the garage for a couple years and its time to make some room. Super fun Golf cart and the suspension is amazing. The brakes could be a little bigger or they need to be worked on. You need to push the brake pedal pretty hard to work properly. Fine for a teenager or adult but little kids can't push the pedal hard enough to stop. It has a master cylinder brake system and potentially could be adjusted but I am not a mechanic. I took it to a company that was going to work on the brakes for me. They had this for a year and I never really pushed it since we were not using it anyway. I finally went to go check on it, and they had it sitting outside. I was furious. The seats got damaged so they need a little love. Probably needs to be re-upholstered. I picked it up and brought it home. It still looks amazing (Other than the worn seats). This would be a great fancy full suspension golf cart for someone who has a little time to work on the brakes (Or make sure older kids are driving it). I am open to offers. Has 6 Trojan 8 volt Golf Cart Batteries to make this a 48 Volt System. Comes with the charger. Has a roof rack, rear facing seats, 2 front bucket seats and headlights.
