My son is selling his go kart, I'm just listing it for him so if you have any questions he'll be answering them. He bought the frame and engine for $250 from a lady claiming the engine was brand new, it ran for about 15 minutes and never ran again, so he has a slighty newer one that he bought for 80 bucks, both engines are 79cc predators. No brakes, and the front wheels are bald because the person that put them on added toe to the spindles, so now they just drag on the ground until they need replacing, the front right wheel is broken but rides. Pros: great frame and engine. Fits a #40 chain, and it has everything there except for brakes. Cons: will drive right now but in the future it will need new wheels ($30 on Amazon), brakes ($40 on Amazon), spindles ($30 on Amazon) , and either a bigger engine or smaller sprocket($55ish). So it will cost about $150 to get everything for it. After all that it should go about 20 mph with the 79cc, or if you add a bigger engine like a 212cc it will go about 30 mph He will include both engines. It does drive and he's gotten it up to 18 mph, but the clutch slips a lot because it's such a tall gear ratio (5.4/1 with 14 inch wheels) and he ran out of road. The bolt for the clutch is jimmy rigged on because the one that came with it was too small. Everything works but it's just too small for him. He is willing to trade for a go kart frame or mini bike, the price is negotiable but cash only. I can only go about 15 miles out of brigham City utah, so no if you live in salt lake I can't meet halfway, thank you!
