VenmoNice pair of Infinity Sterling SS-2002 2-way bookshelf speakers from the early 1990s. These use Infinity's 6½" IMG (Injection Molded Graphite) woofers paired with ½" tweeters. They're relatively efficient at 90 dB sensitivity and are an easy speaker to pair with vintage or modern stereo equipment.
I have professionally replaced the deteriorated foam surrounds on both woofers, then tested the speakers to make sure everything is operating properly. Both woofers and tweeters are working as they should. The new surrounds take care of the primary age-related failure these speakers experience and should provide many more years of service.
Specifications • 2-way bookshelf speaker • 6½" IMG woofer • ½" tweeter • Frequency response: 65 Hz–20 kHz ±3 dB • Sensitivity: 90 dB • Nominal impedance: 8 ohms • Recommended amplifier power: 10–75 watts • Crossover frequency: 3,500 Hz Condition / Service • Both woofers professionally refoamed • Both speakers fully tested • All four drivers working properly • Grilles included • Cabinets show cosmetic wear consistent with their age, including some wear around the edges and corners — please see photos
These would make a nice affordable pair for a 2-channel stereo, vintage receiver, office, bedroom, garage or secondary listening system.
