VenmoAuthentic vintage Lloyd Manufacturing writing desk dating to approximately the 1930s. Beautiful Machine Age / Streamline Moderne design featuring a tubular chrome frame, black writing surface and single center drawer.
The original chrome drawer pull is clearly marked “Lloyd.”
This desk closely corresponds in design and dimensions to documented Lloyd Manufacturing writing desks attributed to renowned American industrial designer Kem Weber. Because the original paper manufacturer’s label is no longer present, I am selling it as attributed to Kem Weber rather than making a definitive designer attribution.
Dimensions:
34” wide × 20” deep × 30” tall
Features include original Lloyd-marked hardware, tubular chrome construction, single center storage drawer, rounded black top and classic 1930s Machine Age styling.
The desk is in original vintage condition and has not been refinished. The black top shows considerable scratches, scuffs and finish loss from decades of use, particularly around the edges. Chrome shows age-related wear but presents nicely overall. Please review photos closely for condition.
