VenmoThis is Poker! She has been with me for the past couple of years, but unfortunately I am needing to re-home her because I am heading off to college. My biggest priority is finding her a home where someone is prepared for her needs and willing to give her the patience and care she deserves.
What comes with Poker:
40-gallon tank with all of her current accessories
Heat mat
Heat lamp
UVB bulb
Feeding bin
Rat/feeding container
Small and large frozen rats
Several weeks' worth of food
She has always been a great eater and has never refused a meal. She can occasionally miss when striking at food, which I believe is related to her coordination and wobble.
About Poker's personality:
Poker is a spider morph, so she does have a wobble. Hers has never been extremely severe, but I have noticed that it has become a little more noticeable as she has gotten older.
She has historically been a very docile snake. More recently, she has become a little more timid and nervous around hands. I haven't been able to handle her as consistently as I would have liked due to my schedule, so I believe some of that nervousness comes from simply not being handled as regularly.
She is not as aggressive snake, she is more of a shy, nervous snake who needs someone willing to be patient with her and help her become comfortable with handling again. Once she trusts you, she really is a sweet snake; she just needs a little extra patience right now.
Because of her spider morph and her current timidness, I would strongly prefer someone who has owned a ball python before or someone who has thoroughly researched ball pythons and feels comfortable working with a snake that has a wobble. I don't think she would be the best choice for someone looking for an especially easy first snake.
I am looking for a**** well-prepared, responsible home**** rather than simply trying to sell her as quickly as possible. I am happy to answer any questions about Poker, her care, feeding, temperament, or her setup. Price is negotiable for the right home.
Serious inquiries only, please. I want to make sure Poker ends up somewhere she will be well cared for and loved.
