This original Gen 1 Heavy-Duty Switchback was built with a 1,200 lb static weight rating and originally retailed for around $2,000.
If you plan to use a rooftop tent (RTT), heavy overland gear, or camp on top of your truck bed, this older Heavy-Duty model is significantly more capable than the current version.
