Electra Custom Les Paul

Made in Japan and this is a pre lawsuit copy of a Les Paul with the book end Headstock

Brand new strings with setup done at House of Guitars

Jack was replaced with Switch craft replacement as original had too much play in it.

All electronics checked and work.

Binding has cracking as normal for age. Normal imperfections in pictures for age. All Gold Patina has worn and looks silver gold in many spots.

Case included was an acoustic case and is for shipping purposes only to protect the guitar and will be in a guitar cardboard shipping box.

Tested guitar and it holds it's tune like any other Gibson Les Paul and sounds fantastic. Compared with Les Paul pickups, the Maxon are a little hotter and marginally darker, not much.

The guitar had 3 headstock breaks that were repaired by the previous owner as the history in the case shows it came through Saint Louis to New York City. The repairs were verified as repaired by House of Guitars - Salt Lake City and are stable. If it was me, I would lightly sand the one on the top and re-color it which would be nothing if you did it yourself but it is fine the way it is too.

A Gibson Les Paul Custom would be anywhere from $3500-$4500

This is a great alternative and way cheaper and just a great guitar and a piece of history. Japanese stuff especially from this era, stole the market and is just as good or better than today's guitars.
