PayPalI purchased this boat back in 2009 with the intent to use it when I retired. I pulled it back from So Cal where it was said to be used to go back and forth to between the coast and Catalina Island.
The outdrive was said to have been just rebuilt and when taken out on Strawberry there were no issues with the outdrive, motor or anything else with the boat… ran great and had a good time.
That said, after the initial UT voyage, I decided to go back to college and get a degree, which ended up having me shelving all my outdoor activities; e.g., fishing, camping, boating, etc… so the boat sat covered up as seen in the pics until recently. The boat’s motor was properly winterized and hasn’t run since then.
I’ve got a fairly newer battery to install and will be de-winterizing it shortly to start up the motor.
Over the years the boats interior has seen some weathering and will need a good cleaning and some cosmetic touching up.
The tires are older but seem to be in good shape (no weather cracking etc); that said, they should probably be replaced before going any major distances.
Overall the boat is still in fairly good shape for the year and would be a great fishing and party barge… with a little TLC.
