Hoss is a 7 y/o purebred blue Merle border collie. He has been the best and smartest dog I have ever owned. He was the easiest and smartest puppy I have had. Learned all his basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, shake, go/get out, recall) all within a couple of days. Potty trained in a week and NEVER chewed on or chewed up anything! He does sit right at 60-65 lbs and puppies from previous litters tend to get his size. He has the working drive but I have never trained him on my cows but I have no doubt, even at an older age he would catch on quick. He knows when he is outside it is time to run and get energy out but the minute he comes in the house he calms right down and is the biggest snuggler. His pups would be great working dogs or family dogs! I know where a few of his pups are and have been told they are the best dogs they have! Hoss’ mother was a blue Merle with blue eyes and his dad was a red with one blue eye. Hoss has a partial blue eye and every litter of his has thrown Merle’s (reds and/or blues) and blue eyes! His first litter had blue and red Merle’s, black tris, red tris, red/white, black/white. Pictures towards the end are all of previous litter puppies. TEXT IS BEST
