VenmoBeautiful matching pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern table lamps, most likely dating to the 1950s–early 1960s.
These have a fantastic Atomic/MCM look with sculptural hourglass-shaped wood sections, brass-tone stems and accents, and round brass-tone bases. The combination of warm wood and brass makes them especially attractive for a mid-century, Danish modern, retro, or eclectic interior.
The original-style lamp hardware is stamped:
“BERGER – SWIVEL HARP – PAT. #2,270,497”
The Berger swivel-harp patent dates to the early 1940s and was widely used on quality period lighting. The lamps also retain vintage Underwriters’ Laboratories Portable Lamp inspection labels.
