4 solid wood chairs come with the table but the leather is ruined on the chairs. You don't have to take the chairs, if you don't want them, but you could have them reupholstered, if it is something you wanted to do.
Oval shape it is 72 in x 54 in. The center leaf is 18 in x 54 in. So, when it's in its round shape, it is 54 in diameter.
