2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 4.0L motor Rebuild or Parts

I’ve got a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L motor that I started into as a “Keep busy” project for me, family members and friends that may need a rebuilt good running motor for a Jeep.

I purchased a good running motor from a dude for a couple of hundred dollars and started into the rebuild.

I took the head off the motor I just purchased and took it down to Hunter Machine in WV to go through. It’s still in the bag that they put it into after completion… you can see a pic of the receipt from 2022 and machined head in the bag… the machining cost me $401.12 to get done. I’ve had Hunter Machine do several heads for rebuilds over the years without any issues… they do excellent work!

I purchased new gaskets, bearings, head bolts, timing chain with sprockets… etc for the rebuild.

Long story short… I’m moving and will not have the facilities to continue with this MR. Goodwrench project to help others.

The engine stand and cart will go with the sale. I still have an engine hoist to help you load the parts into your truck or trailer.

I’ve got a bunch of other ZJ & WJ parts not shown in the ad’s Pics that I can throw in to help the sale and you out.
