- Runs 0.030" flux-core mild steel wire — gasless, no bottle to rent or refill

Handles about 18 gauge up to 3/16" mild steel. Great for trailer and hitch

repairs, gates and fencing, brackets, racks, shop projects, and general

farm/garage fix-it welding. This is the machine a lot of people learn on.

Works as it should. Normal shop wear — see photos, they're honest. Everything

functions, nothing missing.

Harbor Freight discontinued this model. Used ones on eBay are running

$100-200 for the WELDER ALONE, and then it's another $25-60 to ship a 50 lb

machine to your door. Carts go for $75 and these helmets $40-45 delivered.
