Meet Rooster. He’s been my go-to horse for the last several years. He’s one of those horses I know I can count on to get any job done, and is super fun to ride. I’ve used him to gather cattle in all kinds of country, brand, doctor and tie off, rope and load, and he’s sorted a lot of cattle. I’ve also started him as a heel horse. He has excelled at every task I’ve put in front of him. He’s tough, athletic, and won’t quit when the work gets hard, but he’s gentle and enjoyable to be around. I ride him with my daughter and can pick her up off the ground. He watches cattle closely and will put you exactly where you need to be. I wouldn’t consider him a beginner or kids’ horse, but he would make an excellent ranch horse and could potentially make a rodeo horse with a little more training. I have videos available, or feel free to come take him for a spin. Only selling because I’m looking to put a little cash toward a skid steer or tractor. Good horses like Rooster are hard to replace, and I’d like to see him go to someone who will use and appreciate him
