This is the rare Yamaha DSR 2000 workstation, it's a multi-timbral FM synth workstation from the '80s, and it's a beast.

Probably the most interesting thing about the synth, is the Hands-On sound editing controls, which is rare for an FM synth, especially one from the '80s. It includes common settings like attack, decay, release, but also settings like spectrum and brilliance, which modify the FM algorithm and produce wildly different sounds. You can also stack or split sounds, the keyboard can play two sounds at once, along with a drum machine accompaniment.

There is also a PC patch editor for this, and you have full access to the four operator FM synthesis engine, and can really dive deep and make any type of FM sound you want and save it to the keyboard which is pretty amazing.

The keyboard itself is velocity sensitive all keys work great, mod and pitch Wheels work great. One really excellent feature is that you can actually use the split and dual Midi capabilities for external gear, which means you could play two external synths at once on different midi channels with this keyboard so even as a midi controller it's an excellent choice.

Also includes the manuals, power supply, sustain pedal, and the sheet music holder, and a stand, which is in great shape and quite sturdy.

I'm a big fan of the synth, the only reason I'm selling is because it's rather large especially with a stand, but all in all it's a really amazing FM synth. And it looks amazing too, with the pop-up display and the signature Yamaha 80s color scheme.
