Build & Tone

All-solid tonewoods: torrefied Sitka spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides. The torrefied top gives it that "aged-in" warmth and openness usually associated with older instruments, right out of the case. Taylor's V-Class bracing (their current-generation architecture) delivers more volume, longer sustain, and cleaner harmonic clarity across the whole fretboard compared to older X-braced 314ce models.

Neck & Playability

Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck with a slim, comfortable Standard Carve profile. 1-11/16" nut width — accessible, easy-playing neck for a wide range of players and styles.

Electronics

Taylor's Expression System 2 (ES2) — their professional-grade under-saddle pickup, known for natural, uncolored amplified tone. Stage/studio ready.
