My uncle was part of the post-WWII occupation force in Japan from the late 1940's through early 1950's. He purchased this very nice set of Bird Salt and Pepper Shakers for my Aunt, and these were used on special meal occasions when we went to their home.

As the pictures show, they are in great condition for being almost 80 years old. There are no cracks, chips, breaks, etc.

In looking online, Etsy has this exact set of S&P shakers priced at $23.95 + shipping (see link below), so my asking price of $6.00 is very fair at a quarter of this.
