Kela can be shy and unsure when she first meets new people or encounters new situations, but give her some time to feel safe and her sweet personality starts to shine. She has been thriving in her foster home, where we're getting to see more and more of the wonderful dog underneath those initial nerves.
She is great with kids, dogs AND cats, and having another friendly, confident dog in her new home is important for Kela. A canine buddy helps her feel secure and navigate the world with more confidence.
Kela needs a patient, committed family who understands that trust may take a little time and is willing to let the relationship develop at her pace. For the right family, watching this girl continue to blossom is going to be incredibly rewarding.
