ZelleThese CO2 Scrubbers are made with Culligan Water Filter Housings and Hydronix Media Cartridges. Fittings are for 3/8” ID hoses. I’ve only had these in use on my aquariums for about 4 months, but I changed my sump configurations and don’t need them anymore. They increased pH in my reef aquariums by about .2 for both tanks when hooked up to my protein skimmers. The media currently in the scrubbers is about a month old, so some of it has changed (absorbed CO2), but most of it hasn’t.
I’m including all the extra soda lime pellets that haven’t been used as well. There is an unopened 38 lb. bucket of media, and what’s left of a 10 lb. container. Altogether $260 when bought new.
