VenmoVintage hand-carved wooden cuckoo clock featuring detailed Black Forest animal carvings and figurines. The clock is in used condition with visible wear from age and handling. A charming decorative wall piece for collectors. Regula Clock 859, made in Germany. More importantly, the back confirms that this is a three-weight musical/dancing cuckoo clock: I can see the separate music mechanism on the lower right, the dancer platform, and the three chain/weight positions.
The construction is consistent with the type of Black Forest hunting clock that was commonly fitted with Regula 859 movements. A documented example with the same Regula 859 movement and a very similar hunting case is attributed to Emil Schmeckenbecher and has a stag, hunting motifs and musical features.
