This is the Original (OG) VelociRAX 7 model. It features the famous hydraulic damper-assisted tilt mechanism, allowing you to easily lower the fully loaded rack to roll bikes right in and out without heavy lifting.

• A refundable $500 security deposit and a quick signed agreement are required at pickup.

⚠️ CRITICAL Specifications & Weight Limits (Please Read)

Because this is the highly stable Original version (not the newer MAX series), you must adhere strictly to the manufacturer's weight capacities to ensure safety:

• Total Bike Weight Capacity: Maximum 230 lbs total across the entire rack.

• Per-Basket Weight Capacity: Maximum 55 lbs per individual bike.

• e-Bike Rules: Accommodates a maximum of 4 standard e-bikes (under 55 lbs each), spaced out. Batteries MUST be removed prior to loading to stay within safe weight limits.

• Wheel/Tire Compatibility: Fits 24" to 29" wheels with tire widths up to 3 inches. (Does NOT fit fat bikes over 3" or small kids' bikes under 24" without separate custom baskets).

🚙 Vehicle & Hitch Requirements

• Receiver Size: Requires a true 2-inch Class III or Class IV hitch receiver. Will not work with 1.25" hitches or adapters.

• Tongue Weight Rating: Your vehicle's hitch must be rated for at least 500 lbs tongue weight.

• Clearance: Requires at least 3-3/8 inches of depth past the center of your hitch pin hole to properly insert the anti-rattle locking wedge. (Note: Some factory OEM hitches on Subaru Outbacks/CrossTreks or Ford Rangers are too shallow—please measure ahead of time!).

• RV/Trailer Use: Can be used on trailers or RVs only if they feature a welded, chassis-mounted Class III receiver. Bumper-mounted or bolt-on hitch extensions are strictly prohibited.
