These units work great, I bought the RV in 2017 and I assume they are original to the rig (2011). Capacitor sets were replaced last year, and the forward unit had a soft start installed at the same time. I’m replacing the rear unit with a 12v and forward one with a larger more efficient model. So what’s the catch you ask? You have to remove the units from the roof AND put the new ones on the roof. I will uninstall and install the A/C you just have to get them down/up. bring a ladder, rope, hoist, whatever and a friend. RV is a class A and the roof is about 13’.
