VenmoSolid older Craftsman mower with the Kohler Command 20 HP V-Twin, automatic transmission, and 42” mower deck.
I started going through it to get it back up and running and have already installed:
- New Battery\
- New Starter\
- New Rear Tire\
- New Fuel Tank\
- New Seat Cover
Complete hood/body, Front brush/bumper guard.
The engine turns over when the starter is jumped, so the engine is not locked up. I haven't finished diagnosing the ignition/electrical system to get it starting normally from the key. I believe it needs an ignition switch.
It is not currently running and is being sold as-is. Good project for someone mechanically inclined who can finish troubleshooting it, or a very complete parts/donor tractor.
The hood has some cosmetic damage/tape around the front as shown in the photos, and the deck has surface rust consistent with its age.
I simply don't have the time to keep working on it.
