WHAT THEY ARE

- Genuine Cornelius corny kegs, 5 gal / 19 L, 304 stainless steel

- Ball lock (the premium type - about 92% of my stock). Some pin lock available at $8 less.

- Rubber bumper rings top and bottom, intact on nearly every keg. That is unusual on a lot this size and it is the first thing that goes on cheap kegs.

- Many carry a blue tag on the post plate. Blue tag = that keg was pressure tested and holds. Untagged kegs are UNTESTED - not tested and failed. I'm not going to tell you they all hold, because I haven't tested them all.

HONEST ABOUT CONDITION

Used kegs out of long-term storage. Normal weathered stainless - scuffing and some dulling, nothing structural. A portion are missing lids; in the worst unit it runs about 1 in 10. Replacement lids run $10-18 online. That is priced in, and on small lots you can pick your own kegs off the stack. About 2% will want a fresh set of O-rings, which is normal for any used keg.

HOW IT WORKS

Kegs are in storage units in the Salt Lake valley. They're stacked lengthwise about ten rows deep and there's no forklift, so you load your own - that's exactly why the price is what it is. Bring gloves and a friend. A 10-keg pickup takes about 20 minutes.

Why so many? They came out of the soda pre-mix industry. Bottlers moved off pre-mix decades ago, which is why used cornys have roughly doubled in price since 2022 and why every refurbisher's site says "call to order." This is very likely the largest single lot of corny kegs available in North America.
