PayPalAmerican Depression-era quilt, circa 1935–1940, hand pieced and hand quilted. Featuring a classic cactus basket and star geometric pattern in strong rich red, brown, and cream fabrics set on a diagonal. Most likely a Prairie Star/Diamond Basket pattern. Very small, carefully made patchwork pieces. Calico fabric backing with dense small floral print consistent with period cotton. All handmade with lovely perfect stitching. There is some minor damage, see photo. Size: 66”x 74”. Will Deliver
