ZelleVintage Mercury 4.5 HP outboard boat motor. This single-cylinder engine. Motor runs and drives. It has a freshly rebuilt carburetor and fully serviced all the wiring and ignition components. Last spring I installed a new water pump kit and lower end gear oil.
I used this Motor for trolling which works for several hours a trip then it starts to act up and flood out. My theory is that im fouling the plug by running it too low of rpm for that long period of time. Always runs great for the first few hours so unsure what it could be. It will also fire back up once fuel is disconnected and it unfloods/unfouls.
