ZelleSuper minty, very rare, full carbon Pinarello Paris road bike.
This bike was around $6500 new... (with full SRAM Red). The Paris model has historically been either the #1 or #2 best / highest / most expensive frame in the Pinarello line up--with the Dogma now being the only higher / more expensive option.
This bike has had a few slight mods / upgrades from the original factory build:
In addition to the recently upgraded / newer derailleurs, the bike also has newer chain and cassette with less than 200 miles / 5 rides on them... and a recent tune / adjust at Contender in SLC.
Also has newer ($100/pair) Conti Gatorskins on it--certainly the most popular and arguable the best all-around road tire for the money. Extremely puncture resistant while still have a reasonably low rolling resistance.
Bar tape is a fun leopard print that is overall in good shape but the leopard spots are worn off where your hands touch the bars the most.
I'll include some flip/flop Shimano pedals (flat / platform on one side, SPD's on the other) if you want them... or some nice / newer Crank Bros Eggbeater 3's.. or I have some other more road-specific options if you prefer... (SPD-SL or Speedplays).
In terms of sizing, the TOP tube measures around 51cm... and the seat tube is more like 47cm. Which is common in sloping / European framesets. The shorter seat tube gives you more options when fitting... to dial in the perfect saddle height for various leg lengths. So in terms of rider height, I'd say the sweet spot is from about 5'-3 to 5'-7"... with +/- 1" of wiggle room either direction with a little fitting.
Overall the condition is fantastic. Just basic wear from typical riding. No crashes, no damage ANY kind to the frame or any of the components. The bike rides like showroom new--if not better--due to the above-mentioned mods / upgrades.
In terms of the 10 / 11 spd shifting, the original 10 spd SRAM Red rear derailleur failed (common with 1st gen RED) and I decided to just spend a little more $ to buy new 11 spd derailleurs vs trying to find a matching / used 10 spd one--with future full upgrade to 11 spd in mind. The pull ratios are the same on 10 and 11 spd SRAM systems, so currently you just can't shift up to the top cog (11th gear) on the cassette (11 spd) cassette)--but otherwise the shifting is not affected. You can buy a used Force or Red 11 spd shifter for around $100 on ebay--or a new Force or Red 11 spd shifter for around $200 if you'd like to complete the upgrade to 11 spd. I have multiple bikes and most of them are 10 spd to it never really bothered me... but if you ride in the mountains a lot, having that 11th gear can certainly be nice.
I've never weighed the bike but it's very light... in the +/- 16 lb range--without pedals or accessories. That's pro-racing level light. So this is a great climber with amazing handling.
Road frames are uni-sex... so doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl (or unsure of which)--as long as you are in the right height / size range, you can ride this bike. The base color is matte white... with black and red graphics. That's about as gender neutral as you can get on a road bike.
Pinarello's aren't as well known to American to consumers / entry level riders as the Big 4 brands are (Giant, Specialized, Trek, Cannondale)--but they are VERY well known in racing circles--particularly in Europe--and are often on the podiums of the biggest races in the world (14 Tour de France wins). They've been building high-end / racing bikes in Italy since 1953... and they sponsor / provide bikes for some of the top racing teams. Contender is the local Pinarello dealer.
