I paired these with powder orange isopods and together they make a great cleanup crew. Powder oranges spend most of their time at the surface, and giant canyons love to dig.
If you spend $10 or more, they will come in a small container with some bioactive substrate, food, moisture station. Otherwise, they will come in a mostly empty container (maybe some substrate) and should be transported directly to their new enclosure.
All isopods counted will be large enough to breed, their may be some extras that are too small to breed in the substrate. There may also be springtails in the substrate.
