**Paver Sand (washed) $45/cubic yard = $34.60/ton (dry weight only) (pic 1)**This is a screened, coarse sand that is perfect for leveling underneath pavers, stepping stones and flagstone. Washed sand is what paver manufacturers recommend for leveling. It helps prevent shifting and breakage of your expensive stone. It also promotes drainage. This sand is screened to 3/16 of an inch. -Side Notes: If using under pavers or flagstone, it is usually best to have a base layer of fractured rock or road base. Then the sand will go on top of that for leveling. **Please account for losing 1/2″ every 2″ placed with compaction. We don’t want you to be short!

It is made up of a variety of rock which is usually a mixture of limestone, granite, gneiss, or trap rock. It’s one of the main ingredients in cement, asphalt, and mortar. Homeowners and contractors can use concrete sand as a base layer for paver or stepping stones, pathways/walkways or for bedding pipe and is great for use in chicken coops. -Side Notes: We have this for pick up as well as delivery **Please account for losing 1/2″ every 2″ placed with compaction. We don’t want you to be short!
