The Blue Diamond® SDX Excavator Drum Mulcher is the one of the quickest ways to turn trees into wood chips in a matter of minutes. Our most durable drum mulcher is built with high strength steel and recommended for 49K-70K excavators.
With a 60 working width and a cutting diameter of 12 inches, no job is too tough! Our drum rotors have fixed teeth set in a helical position with “p-cut” depth limiters. The optional reversible carbide teeth are a must when working in rocky areas because it offers a maximum tooth lifespan. Routine maintenance is quick and easy with the centralized grease points and hydraulic quick couplers.
Two double rows of chains and rubber side shields on our SDX Drum Mulchers provide maximum protection of debris while also keeping the material flowing.
*Excavator Drum Mulchers do not come with hoses or couplers. Host machine requires case drain and may require additional hydraulic valve for aux flow. All these items are dealer responsible for time and materials. Manufacturer suggested time (MST) is 1-hour shop required to tune the mulcher to the host machine, and this time excludes all other dealer installed service items.
