Nice, dark, fertile marans hatching eggs! My marans come from a variety of different high quality lines, with my rooster coming from a different line than my hens, ensuring vital and healthy chicks. My hens start the laying season laying 6 to 8 on the marans egg color chart. My rooster is a BCM, while my hens are BCM, blue copper, and splash marans. Eggs will be collected within a week before pick-up, tilted daily, and stored in a cool room to ensure high fertility. Update: I had 100% fertility and hatchrate on my last incubation of BCM and blue cooper marans eggs from my flock. 11/11 chicks hatched and they are all very energetic and healthy! $4 per hatching egg. Please note that eggs will be available on a limited basis per week based on supply and demand. Also, please note that Marans eggs lighten throughout the laying season. When they have a break, they go dark again (kind of like refilling a printer with ink). This is very normal for Marans. The eggs you receive might be slightly lighter than pictured if my hens have been laying for several months. Please know that the chicks that come from hens that start the season off with dark eggs and the chicks hatched from lighter eggs from later in the laying season from the same hens have the same dark egg genetics as those hatched from the darker, early season eggs.
