We have a coming 6 year old blue roan paint mare for sale. She is on the shorter side, probably around 14.2 hands. She is broke to ride, loads in the trailer great, stands tied and stands for the farrier (trim only, she has never needed shoes). This mare has been trained for the basics, has smooth gaits, responds to leg pressure great and has a nice back. There is no bolt or buck aside from a crow hop here and there when she is feeling fresh. We have taken her on a lot of trails and moved cows. She is still not 100% comfortable around cows but did push them for me when asked. This mare is not a beginner horse. She will need at the minimum an intermediate rider who is working with a trainer to keep her going in the direction you want. Very smart horse and I will be sad to see her go. We are starting the process of moving here soon and trying to make it easier by downsizing our herd. We are firm on the price as we have a place lined up for her to stay if she does not sell. I do not have papers on hand, they were lost and I have talked to APHA to start the process of getting a copy of her papers. I do not have any other photos or videos. I will upload more as time goes on when I am able to make it to the arena.
