Meet Skipper!

Looking for a loyal little sidekick? Skipper is ready to find the person or couple who will love him for exactly who he is.

Born in April 2018 and weighing just 12 pounds, Skipper is a sweet, affectionate little dog who loves being with his people. Once you've earned his trust, he'll happily shower you with kisses, snuggle beside you on the couch, or join you on whatever adventure the day brings. Whether you're heading out for a walk or settling in for a quiet evening at home, Skipper is happiest when he's by your side.

Skipper gets along well with other dogs, but he takes a little time to warm up to new people. He'll do best with someone who understands that relationships are built on trust and is willing to let him get comfortable at his own pace. Because of this, we'd recommend a home with older, respectful children who can understand and honor his boundaries.

It's important for potential adopters to know that Skipper has significant resource guarding behaviors. He will need a family committed to managing this appropriately and following training guidance to help him succeed. We believe in setting both our dogs and adopters up for success, which is why free lifetime training is included with his adoption.
