Opie is for sale because he wasn’t ridden enough this summer and he’s too nice to sit. He’s a 5 year old 14.3hh Walkaloosa gelding. I think with another summer of consistent riding he’d be kid safe, right now he’s safe with no buck but he is still young. He loads, great for the farrier, starting to neck rein, and he’s super easy to catch. He can be a little bit of a pedal horse but he does fine with spurs. He does a nice gait but he prefers to trot. His dam is a Spotted Saddle Horse that’s still motored up and an amazing trail horse at 25. Sire is a foundation Appaloosa that carries the gaited gene. Opie is up to date on vaccines and worming and has a full set of shoes. He’s pretty fearless and would be great for 4H or trail riding. Need to move by the end of the month.
