Are you hoping to add a deeper, mossy looking green egg to your Easter basket of eggs? I have BC1 olive egger chicks ready to go to on March 2! It is first come first serve and if timing is not right, I do have a waitlist for future hatches.
In the last picture it shows the Marans I crossed with my f1 olive egger on the top row. Bottom row is an idea of the shades of eggs the chicks are capable of producing. Majority of the chicks I kept last year lay the super deep dark green color, but know there’s a chance of the chick laying a dark brown egg. (Not quite as dark as a Marans but darker than your average brown egg). Chicks are straight run and $7 each.
If interested in hatching your own BC1, eggs are available for $3 each or $30 per dozen
