Say hello to Tuxedo, our 7 year old, 16.1 hh, black draft cross gelding. He’s not got a single white hair, from head to toe. Although he’s still in his winter coat, he shines up like a new penny come spring. We’ve owned him for 3 years and loved his “in your pocket” demeanor the whole time. He’s gentle gentle gentle. He’s sound all around with no health issues or bad habits. He is friendly and broke. He loads, shoes, hobbles well. He rides, drives, and packs. He’s packed game as well as loads of gear. He was broke by the Amish to drive before we bought him and is ready to go to work if that’s what you need. We mostly have ridden him in the mountains. He is great in the mountains and is big and sure footed. He can be ridden by kids or adults of various sizes. He leads or follows, and crosses water.
