Our cutie patootie love bug Sue needs a new home.
Sue is a beautiful 5-year-old, silver lab with a big heart and so much love! As a rescue, she came with some baggage and reactivity issues, but she graduated Wasatch Canine Camp's boot camp program and comes with so many resources included. In the past, she has struggled with other animals, but she got a lot of exposure/socialization at boot camp and she learned to get along with our rescue cat.
Sue's biggest issue, and the reason we need to re-home her, is that she is not safe around children. Despite all the boot camp, training, and classes, she cannot coexist with our toddler. She deserves more than to be kenneled, muzzled, or back-tied for the rest of her life, so after talking with her trainers, we're hoping to find her a new home.
Sue is such a sweetheart and so much fun! She loves going for walks and playing in the snow. She loves to play with her stuffies and play tug of war. She loves celery and carrots. She melts into a pup puddle whenever she gets scratches.
She is spayed and is up to date on all her shots/vaccinces. We're willing to send all her stuff with her (kennel, beds, leashes, e-collar, toys, etc).
We love the crap out of her and hope that we can find someone who will also the crap out of her and give her an environment where she can thrive ️️
From her trainer:
Sue is a fun loving, sweet as pie, drooly, playful, lug of a dog. Sue did beautifully with her training and has flawless obedience, great house manners, off leash skills, dog social manners, does great with relaxation techniques, muzzle conditioned, etc. Unfortunately despite training she is far too reactive to the toddler in her home and therefore needs a new place to call home. Sue is by no means a dog that will go out and just attack a random child, but living in a home with one is outside of what she can handle. Sue would be great for an older couple, or a family with teens who want a great companion dog. She absolutely cannot go to a home with young children. She is great with the dogs and dog savvy cats.
Please message me if you're interested or have questions. Adoption fee waived if Sue likes you ️
