VenmoI am selling my collection of 8mm film reels. This set is a collection of 34 vintage 8mm home movie reels in color, mostly original Kodachrome and Technicolor in boxes that I collected from estate sales.
These films span roughly the 1940s through early 1970s and most are hand labeled on the inside of the boxes. Some of the labeled contents include:
- Family and school events (May Day, school construction, weddings, holidays)
- Christmas footage from multiple years
- Travel and locations (Los Angeles, New York, Yellowstone, Niagara / Kirtland, Honolulu to San Francisco flight)
- everyday life and events (water skiing, fishing, lake scenes, homecoming parade, deer hunt, pheasant hunt, basketball at church, wedding, infant and family moments) ** a few reels are unlabeled or unclear
I have not viewed or verified the contents of the films, and cannot guarantee that what's on each reel matches the handwritten labels on the boxes. Selling strictly as is. $200 OBO.
The boxes show age and wear but the condition of the film appears to be good.
